Refund Policy

Cancellation

If a Lessee cancels their booking before the commencement, the respective lessor's cancellation terms apply, which may include various cancellation fees and deadlines.

Full Refund for Non-Appearance

If the rental service does not appear at the agreed time and place, we guarantee a full refund to the customer. This ensures that our customers are not financially affected by circumstances beyond their control.

Refund for Delivery of the Wrong Bike

If the rental delivers a different bike than the one the customer booked, we refund the full amount. We believe in providing our customers with high-quality service and products.

Refund for a Defective Bike

If the delivered bike is defective or not in the promised condition, we refund the full amount. We believe in providing our customers with high-quality service and products.

Refund for Service Interruption

In case of interruptions to the rental service due to reasons such as natural disasters, strikes, or other unforeseen events that prevent the rental from fulfilling its obligations, we guarantee a full refund to the customer. We understand that these are circumstances beyond anyone's control and believe in fair treatment of our customers.

For Lessors

How do I become a lessor?

Do you own a bike rental business and want to spread the word about your bike rentals quickly and effortlessly? You're in the right place. You can easily create a user account and gradually list your bikes by clicking on "register now." You set the prices and availability. To find out about our intermediary commission and our guidelines, refer to the terms and conditions under Section 7.

How and when do I receive my payment?

It's straightforward: you can enter your bank details in your user account and update them later if needed. The payment is automatically processed 24 hours after a successful handover of the bike to the lessee.

What does Bikecnc cost me?

As per our terms and conditions, we withhold an intermediary fee, currently 10% of the total rental price, directly. The remaining amount is paid to you.

For Lessees

Is a user account required?

A user account is not mandatory for lessees. However, we recommend creating one because it allows you to easily and conveniently manage your bookings and favorites. You can also contact a lessor directly through your booking.

How can I make payments?

We offer various common payment methods, such as credit cards (Visa + MasterCard), as well as PayPal and other payment providers.

How can I search?

You can easily search for a bike by using our convenient search function, located at the top right. Simply enter the location, desired date, and other criteria for your bike. Of course, you can also set a price range. Have you previously rented a bike and are looking for the same lessor? No problem, you can easily search for lessors and view their reviews as well.

What if I can't find a bike?

We screen our lessors, but there can be occasional (unintentional) issues where no one shows up during the handover, or the wrong bike is delivered. In such cases, our return conditions, which you can read in terms and conditions Section 6, come into play.

What if I can't start my trip?

That's unfortunate! In that case, the cancellation and withdrawal terms of the respective lessor apply.
